I'm giving up! I searched galleries for cards for inspiration for money holders for graduation (and a bar mitzvah (sp?)). I had print outs of 2 or 3 cards that inspired me. Assuming they were in My Favorites, I threw the printouts away in preparation for my cleaning lady (you know the kind you spend 2 hours preparing for!).
I'm pretty sure the cards I had printed out used the Verve Great Expectations set, so I searched using *Verve*. I know this card by Bethany Paull was ONE of the inspiration cards, but there was another with a more similar layout to the one I used. If I cased you, PLEASE please send me a PM and I will edit my post! I completely rely on you creative ladies to do the design work, so I would hate not to give you credit! This card didn't photograph well, but I really like it IRL. I used the Cuttlebug swirls folder on the River Rock panel and embossed and raised (on dimensionals) a couple of the stars. I also embossed "Congratulations" with black EP. The ribbon is from a Jody Morrow ribbon share. I've been hoarding it, but figured I better use it if I want to buy more!
This card was made to fit in a small open-end envelope (6 3/4 x 3 1/2). The card base is 9"x 6 5/8. I scored it at about 3 1/4, flipped it over and scored again at about 2 1/4 to make the flap for the money holder. I embossed the Ralph Waldo Emerson quote (from the Seeing Stars set) on the flap and put another embossed star next to it. The quote, which I love, is: Make the most of yourself for that is all there is of you.
