This is my card for todays's inspiration challenge. Make a card that was inspired by Movie Dresses. I chose this picture and tried to re-create the dresses....sorta.....
1. I am so excited about these little acrylic boxes. They are really see through gift boxes for gifting handmade cards but I am so excited to use them in other ways!
2. These daily challenges just about kill me. Do you think I really NEEDED to make a card like this? Paper *movie* dresses in a window? I couldn't even think of a sentiment to use with it and who am I gonna give it to??
3. I NEED to make a couple of birthday cards and a thinking of you card.....but what am I doing this morning? Spending half my morning making paper dresses! Yikes!
4. The whole time I am making this I am planning my next *window* card....dinosaurs in a museum! Who the heck am I gonna give that card to? A 7 year old planning a field trip with his class to the museum?? Arrrrghhhhhh!!!
Anyway these little acrylic boxes are so, so cool! I hope you can see the effect it has in the picture!

Wow Gertie! I think your time was well spent! I love this idea (and have a stash of these boxes too!) Your dresses are adorable and I love the scalloped edges over the top. Beautiful as usual! Makes me want to shop! TFS

Really cute card! Love the dresses. I like the dino idea to --can't wait to see that. I guess you can start something--a card in a box. I've been a fan of your gallery for a while.

WOW! This is so fantastic! I just love it! You are so clever! I just love the way you used the acrylic box..
Doesn't most of the fun come from making the card. I'm sure anyone would be happy to have such a fantastic creation of yours!
