Hi! This card was made for today's Ways To Use It Challenge: Get Packing.... We could use packing supplies, or PACKING Stamps like luggage...
Well...I had this set from H&M Stamps sitting on my table, (HIDDEN from Speedy the Cat!!!!),and I don't have ANY travel stamps...So....Out came the packing tape...
Then, I went through a BUNCH of photos looking for the PERFECT one for today's card! I found this one! It's of Markie 4 years ago on July 4! HOW PERFECT!!!
Then, I went to Office Max and had several color copies made of this photo. I went home, and stuck CLEAR packing tape right onto the photocopy! Then, I CUT out the image around the tape and soaked the tape in the bathroom sink. Then, I carefully RUBBED the photocopy paper away! This gave me a TRANSPARENT copy of the photo!!! (Granted, it was only 2 inches wide, but it worked for what I was going for!)
The, I stamped the sentiment from this set: "Live for the Moment," randomly on a Whisper White piece of CS.
Next, I adhered the packing tape/photo to the card stock! WOW!
The image was stamped in basic black and colored with SU! Markers. The ovals were cut with Nestibilities.
The rhinestones came from a sticker from Target Dollar Spot!
This is incredible....and so adorable! I gasped when I read the part of soaking the picture....never heard of that technique, but your project turned out soooo KEWEL! Just love it! TFS!

Your photo transfer method turned out great, I've always wanted to try that technique but as I recall you can't use an inkjet printer as thus have to go to the copystore. Thanks for that EXTRA EFFORT/time to be able to show us this wonderful card. So cute!

Faith, what a great card. I hadn't ever heard of the packing tape over photo technique. Now I am going to have to go try that after work tonight. After scouts... after oh well. I am going to have to try it soon.

Beautiful card, the colours in the photo go perfectly. I also like the way you've done the ribbon.
I've never heard of this technique, I don't understand how it could work! but it sure sounds interesting and looks great!
