Our boy turned 7 today, and this is his birthday card. This set is long retired but still so sweet and perfect for "boy cards."
Main image was colored with reinkers on watercolor paper. Yellow background was created by sponging around the edges of So Saffron with Summer Sun (should have just used More Mustard first), stamped with the Sanded background with Creamy Caramel (stamped off once), and then sponged once more with More Mustard. I was trying to matching the yellow diamonds in the argyle designer paper, and it came pretty close (at least in person).
Thanks for looking and for any comments!

Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.

Shelli,
Once again I'm drawn to something you've created! I have this set and wanted to make a *frog* card. Something different than Unfrogettable. Then I found this card! I am trying to see if I could somehow change the boys hair to make him look like a girl. We'll see

Shellie, this is so precious! Your watercoloring is superb, as always. I really need some lessons! Love the combination of colors and dp. Also like how you placed the sentiment. I bet your son loved it!
