Inspired by the pocket card sample in the new SS and having to do a swap for the simple stripes background set, I was inspired to design this little card. I laminated the apple image and mounted it onto a popsicle stick. I thought that this would be a really cool idea to poke into a plant when giving one as a gift!

In order to make the pocket card, you use a 12x12 piece of paper and cut it into 3, four inch strips. You then fold the 4x12 cardstock in half (at 6 inches). You then score one end at 1.5 inches and fold over, thus creating the "flap". You can round the corners. The washers were created with a 1/2" circle punch. Staple the card together under the flap. I used linen thread for the embellishment on the washers. It is an easy and fun idea that would also look Phenomenal on a Scrapbook layout.
Hope this helps, Vicki
