First of all I would like to congratulate Denise for being selected as the Featured Stamper. Denise, you have an amazing gallery of cards. It was really hard to chose just one card to case. And this is the card I chose.
I have been wanting to use this stamp set 'Seaside' from Crafty Secrets.
Image was stamped 2x in Black Stazon ink. One for the main image and one to mask the image of the little girl and the pail.
Sand was stippled with creamy brown. The ocean was sponge with Oasis Green, Sea Breeze and Ocean Depth. Sky and clouds were sponge with Aqua and Peacock. The main image was colored with watercolor pencils. Sentiment was stamped in Black StazOn Ink and the rope border and knots was colored with watercolor pencils. Both pieces are matted on brown and gold cardstock. Orange background paper was stamped with Pumpkin Spice seashells. And DP strip is from BasicGrey's sugared.
Here are the changes I did to the original card:
* Used different color for the dress.
* Added birds
* Different layout for the background
* Orange background instead of blue
* Used DP
This is also for the Limited Supply Challenge - not to use any hardware. For the corner of the Sentiment border, I used the knotted rope which I cut out and glued to the rope border instead of using brads.
Enjoy

Can anybody say: I dream of the seashore! Love the main image and from the looks of it there was a lot of work in this. So Thank you for sharing this beautiful card with us.

Wow, you're an amazing artist! I love your coloring on that sweet image (just love that little girl with her pretty hat). The addition of the birds is wonderful and I love that you used an orange background. It really makes the blue in that image pop. GREAT, GREAT card!! Hope you're enjoying your holiday weekend. Hugs, D~
