For the Ways to Use It - Masculine Card Challenge. I don't really enjoy making masculine cards but I got this birdcage stamp from my LSS recently - and there's nothing like new rubber to spur you into making a card LOL!
I knew I wanted chocolate, olive and vanilla colours - but I was stumped for a matting layer colour. Thank goodness for the Scrapitude SU! Color Combos website. I went with the turquoise suggestion. I wouldn't have put these colours together myself - but I have to say I really like the colour combo.
The birdcage is stamped on acetate with StazOn and trimmed and attached to the vanilla layer with an eyelet. The scallop at the bottom is made with a QuicKutz Revolution Scalloped Border die.
This will go to my friend Alan for his birthday.

Hey my dear friend from across the pond. How are you today. This is a great card. Love the 3D look with the acetate. I bet it is cool IRL. Lovely job. Have a fantastic day. Glad to see you here today....

Oh Burgess Hill ... my parents live in Suffolk ... I'm homesick! I'm in Michigan.
Anyway, mustn't digress! Love this card. I think it's genius how you made the birdcage out of acetate ... clever! Love the turquoise too. Perfect masculine card!
