When I saw today's Color Challenge, I wasn't sure if I was going to do it or not. I don't know why, but I'm just not a huge fan of Blue Bayou. I own a ton of it, but never seem to want to use it. Well, its a color challenge, so I pushed myself to think (and boy, did the steam come out of my ears on this one). LOL!
I started with a 4.25 inch square Blue Bayou base and added a Soft Sky Cuttlebugged piece on top. The Blue Bayou strip was cuttlebugged with the Swiss Dots folder and added on top of some Certainly Celery, with Soft Sky ribbon added. I stamped the cupcake from PaperTrey Ink's Its A Celebration and punched it out and attached to a SU scalloped circle. The bottom of the cupcake was stamped with River Rock ink, I didn't think blue or green would look very yummy. The sentiment, from the same set, was stamped and punched with the Word Window punch. I added 3 Certainly Celery brads under the ribbon and called it done.
