I made a mistake on the tree when I first created this panel and put it aside until I had time to fix it. So a little Sharpie marker on the tree trunk fixed it up good enough to use.
If youÂ’re wondering if itÂ’s really this brightÂ…yes it is, those alcohol inks can sure make a bright card! I hope it brightens the day for one of the teen boys in the Keiki Cards for kids program!
-The first steps for the scene was to cut sticky notes in wave shapes and masked off as I sponged on different colors.
-Then mask off the ground area and start adding ink for the sky.
-The sun was stamped using a round piece of felt then I worked the other colors as you would if you were doing polished stone but I only used one color at a time.
-Stamp on the tree when finished. Fix it with a Sharpie if you mess up like I did!
-I sanded the edges with a standing block but just sandpaper will give the same look.
-All panels but the scene is ink distressed.
