Only have this one grad card to make this year...so many last year and will have gobs again next year. This one is for a dear friend's daughter. She is a super sweet special needs child who has worked so hard in school, I just had to put a little more effort into her grad card.
The bear is by Judith and one of my faves. Stamped him on dp from hot off the press and heat embossed. Love this look. Did the same with the cap from sketch an event and added clear ep over the cap to stiffen it up a little. Cut out both and ran through the zyron to make stickers.
The background papers are also from hot off the press, same paper pack. Used an exacto knife to tuck the diploma into his hand. The sentiment is a combination of rubber stampede sentiment and the works alpha from ctmh, embossed in gold.
Had to add a little gold ep to the star brads as I did not have gold stars and the yellow just wasn't doing anything for me on this card. Had a little embellishment opportunity occur when I was punching holes for them, hence, the mini brads between the stars.
All in all, I'm pleased with this card...hope Keri likes it, too!

Lynnor, this is so sweet! How nice to have so few cards to do that you can make one extra special! Yikes! I just realized that I better get busy - I have about 15 to make!
I love the bear and the embossed 'class of'! She will love it too!
