The day we got Pepper from the SPCA - what a little beauty she was; what a smart little girl. She just knew things - knew you were going someplace she couldn't go - like church; knew you were going for a ride and she was going - knew it was time to go to bed, time to eat, time to play and time for some good lovin'. She could do all kinds of tricks and did them immediately on command. She just loved people and would do a funny little Whoo-Whoo when she saw friends she loved - would rear up on her hind legs and Whoo-Whoo, tail wagging. She is sorely missed.

I am so sorry for your loss, Vicky. Dog is man's best friend, no need to convince me about that! We've lost several dogs, so I know the pain. Pepper looked like she had a great life over there in your home. Now she's meeting all kinds of new friends, probably some cats too, and running after all the balls that are endlessly thrown in every direction. Again, I am so sorry for the loss you're experiencing. This card is a wonderfully testimony to your beloved rescue lady!

Very cute. Pepper was a special baby and sounds like she was so appreciative of you that she wanted to please you in every way. I think some of the rescue dogs are more special because they know what you do for them. I have worked with rescue centers, but Sawyer is lst rescue I have adopted and I must say he is grand.
