Using a Roses in winter stamp as a template I used an xacto knife to cutout design, place the color behind, overlaid by yoyo yellow & blush blossom.
Xacto for the oval for pic. Sponged for pastel effect. Cut inside pic edges with punch.Folded paper and all, wrote in the sentiments ( not the best penmanship). She loved it!
32yrs. I guess she'll keep me around for awhile longer.

Bubba - why, I can only see the thumbnail but what a treasure of a card!!!! I suspect that you will earn many positive comments by virtue of the beauty of your card and the fact that you are a Man Stamper!!! That's just beautiful work you've done with Roses In Winter - just gorgeous!!!! Love that inset vintage photo - and I'm impressed by your rugged exacto knife work, as well as your sponing.. Bubba - you are a card maker.

Woo hoo, Bubba, that is an awesome card. I am impressed, you even know about sponging, two step stamps and templates. You did "good".
That was very sweet of you and I love the inside sentiment. I think she is going to keep you another 32 yrs. Debzi is right, I think your are going to be the first dirty guy. I have a question. The difficulty part-are you saying as being difficult as a man you are a 10 in that area, meaning really difficult. Surely it can't be that as Pat tells us all how sweet her Bubbalicious is. Happy Anniversary!!!

I think it would be funny to watch you work an exacto knife with man fingers! Man fingers are big....they get in the way....they can't pick up little stuff....they fumble around....but I guess if you got cut by the exacto knife, you'd probably just run in the garage and wrap duct tape or black electrical tape around it until it quit bleeding and call it good...
Did you really use blush blossum...or is that blood blossum! Snort!
Its a wonderful card....Happy Anniversary! Did you get married in 1976? We were married in 1975 and celebrated our 33rd in January....hubby didn't make me a card but he has photographed about 44,000. I think that counts for sumthin!
Good job there Bubblybubbabbubbbaboy with man fingers!

Now that's true love, actually brought tears to my eyes. It's obvious you two are still very much in love after 32 years, how wonderful is that!! This is the best card yet Bubba, I think maybe you've been practicing!! I think she better hold on tight not many guys as sweet as you out there and still with the rugged manly side (Had to add that so you wouldn't think I thought you were a wimp or something). This card is beautiful, just like the two of you. I love the picture, love the rose, love the sponging and love the two of you! Congratulations on 32 years and here's too many, many more.
