This is for today's challenge - embossing and watercoloring. My all-time-favorite stamps for watercoloring are those beautiful landscapes by Stamps Happen. They are a little bit too large for a usual-size card, but wonderful for oversize cards or to frame and hang onto the wall.
I stamped the image on WaterColor paper and embossed it with black embossing powder. Then I attached the paper with broad watercoloring tape to a flat board so that it can't wave and that there's a sharp white border around the image. From my experience: don't try that with those cheap hardware-store tapes because they can damage the paper when you peel them off again.
Then I watercolored the image using several glazes starting with the lightest, then drying the paper with my heat tool, the going on with a slightly darker shade of color leaving some of the brightest areas free. Drying again, and so on...
Then there comes the most upsetting moment: to peel off the border tape without tearing the paper, LOL! I attached it to a dark blue oversize card and added to little maritime embellishments.
Do you like it?

What a sensational card this is! Love your scene and the sentiment is probably a dream for many of us. Everything is absolutely perfect with this card, including those adorable maritime embellishments. Simply exceptional!

I have this stamp, too, and another one with a chair facing out to the ocean. I love the beach, so had to have both stamps. But I know what you mean about how big they are! You did a wonderful job with the watercoloring. Love it!
