The image I chose for this challenge is an Angel by Stampendous. I thought that it looked like a stainglass window so that is the effect I went for.
First I embossed the image with versavark and Pure Gold, then watercolored the image using SU reinkers. I sponged the area surrounding the image, first with TH DI in Olp Paper, then Antique Linen and finally Weathered Wood.
I used the CB folder Devine Swirls, on the folder I swiped Bashful Blue and dry embossed, gently ran Old Paper and Antique Linen over the embossing.
Finally I embossed both panels with Clear EP.
To dress up the card I used gem brads, ribbon and a small pearl in gold charm that I broke the mounting part off of.

Ohhhhh. I love this. The bow is so perfect and the angel is precious. I love the embossing and the light watercoloring. Such a great effect. Pretty pretty. TFS

How absolutely STUNNING Nicole! Gorgeous image and it really does look like stained glass!! LOVE the cb background and the gorgeous ribbon and bling! Wow! TFS!!
