You have done an awsome job! I have this set and I have never been able to color them to my liking on a tile. Yours look so soft and beautiful, I knew I bought the chalk pads for something.

Wow these look excellent. Great job in coloring them. I would have never thought of using the inks with Q-tip to color. Thanks for the idea. Excellent work!

These are so great! I have one of the chalk pads. This will come in so handy for doing tiles and to have some beautiful vibrant color. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent work on these coasters, very professional looking on the coloring/shading. Seriuously, no sealant on these images and they won't run when a drink sweats?

Yes, the heat setting makes the chalk ink permanent, you don't have to use a sealer so the tiles remain absorbant and they do not run when they get wet. I did have to seal the white craft with a thin layer of Crystal Effects -- it didn't remain permanent when heat set. Otherwise, I've tested them by soaking them with water! I can't attest yet as to how the chalk ink holds up over time with wear and fading, though. But I'm sure they will be fine.
Thanks for all the lovely comments -- these were fun to make!
