I need a few thank you cards for Armed Forces Day next week. Browsing through these galleries I found so many beautiful patriotic and inspirational cards to get me started...
For this card, I began by attempting to semi-case Toy's wonderful "Many Tanks" card found here;
This fab Eagle is a flat sticker from a set of Miss Elizabeth's Collection called "USA Hurray". I enhanced it by adhering it onto vanilla cardstock and cutting around the image. Its also colored, inked and outlined with Marvy Leplume Markers. Eagle is also inked with brown Marvy Matchables Ink by running the inkpad across the eagle's entire body (covering up the lighter areas). It's popped-up with foam tape to add dimension. The stars are from the SU set called All about Occasions that are stamped and punched. I pressed these star images directly onto the same brown inkpad with my thumb to soak up the ink and darken the stars enough to match my Eagle.
