I made this for my brother for his birthday. Didn't get a sentiment on the front, but I kinda like it that way.
It was my DH's idea for the bow and arrow. I tied a real twig with hemp twine. The arrow is a toothpick with hand cut 'feathers' out of river rock paper. The pine branch from our back yard with real pinecones just evolved.
I embossed the scallop on the river rock layer, then cut the scallops off and sponged with choc ink. I used metallic rub-ons (from GinaK) on the choc scallop layer.
