I am brand new to this site so please excuse me if I should not simply reply.
I cut 6 1/2 by 7 inch piece of cardstock. On the 6 1/2 length I scored at 3 and 6 in. Fold both scores and glue 1/2 inch to inside to make a cylindrical form (flat one). Glue bottom portion very closely to edge. I used a hole punch and punched through both side enough from the top edge where you can place a paper reinforcer on either side (on inside). I learned to use the reinforcers as my son is very heavy handed and ripped one at the hole. I thread the ribbon with pretty side outward from inside of hole to outside of either hole. I used about a 1 1/2 strip of paper to wrap around the original form and I used sticky strip to attach back portion of ribbon and then folded the 1 1/2 strip over it to hide end and help to keep it from moving. I slid the other end of ribbon under the front (do not glue front) and then placed the candy bar in the middle of the bridge of ribbon. I had to feed the ribbon from the front to keep it loose as I pushed the candy bar down. I added two circles on either side of the front end of ribbon (with sticky strip) and embellished the 1 1/2 paper strip and voila I was done. I got a little OCD and made several and started giving them away before I got the idea to snap some photos and post them. I so appreciate your comment.
