I loved Taylor's sketch she posted on her blog last week (http://tayloredexpressions.blogspot....14.html#links). I've had this rocket and sentiment by A Muse for quite some time, but hadn't used it yet. The color combination is an older color challenge (No Celery!).
My card base is Creamy Caramel followed be a layer of Real Red cs. On the Barely Banana cs layered, I stamped the stars from the Background Basic sets in Barely Banana.
For the three Whisper White panels, I stamped the rocket in three different directions and colored them with SU markers. I masked the rockets and stamped the Barely Banana stars for a more out-of-this-world look. They're layered onto Creamy Caramel and Real Red cs and adhered to the card.
I stamped the sentiment by using the Huff and Puff technique. I layered it on Real Red cs, used my Ribbon Slot Punch on the ends and added the Creamy Caramel grosgrain ribbon.
I felt the card was still lacking something (and keeping in mind that this card is going to my 14 year old because he and I have said this senitment to each other since he was 3 years old), so I highlighted MOON in the sentiment with my Star Dust Gelly Roll Pen, added the Twinkle Stickers on the sentiment panel and added Paper Glaze to the rockets' windows.
