Woodgrain tech is really pretty easy. You need an old toothbrush (with flat/level bristles is best) and several re-inkers in the same color palette. Start with the darkest re-inker - in this case Night of Navy - and put a little on your toothbrush (or in an plastic lid then dab the brush in the ink). Brush back and forth across the white cardstock. Remember, you can always add more! Do the same with the other colors of re-inkers going from darkest to lightest. At the end, add a color of re-inker that is slightly different to give it a little pop (on this card, that was the Forest Foliage). If you don't want any of the white paper to show through, you can lightly sponge the whole piece of c/s with the lightest color (use the coordinating ink pad) to fill in any white areas. In this case, I didn't fill in cause I wanted some white. On another card I did with this same tech (see the Equestrian Dreams card) I sponged with grey to mute the white. Let me know if you still have any questions. Have fun playing!!
