I made 2 of these cards for my mom and MIL for Mother's Day next week.

The butterfly is from a retired SU! set called Wonderful Wings. I stamped it in black, cut it out and then sponged on purely pomegranate ink and then burgundy ink towards the outside wings and attached it with glue dots right under the body (the wings are free). I followed the directions for TLC166. This is a double-open card. (See my subsequent pics.
The border punch is from the Martha Stewart line at Michael's Craft Store, and the dp is by Elizabeth's. I added stickles to the roses and butterfly. Sponged around the outside edges of card. Thanks for looking!

This is just gorgeous. Especially the coloring on the butterfly. I never thought of sponging on the ink before...it gives such a natural coloring to the image. I'll have to try it sometime. This is one of the best cards I've seen with this challenge. Good job.
