This is my hurried submissiion for WT164. We were to ruffle something for our card. I didn't dare sew with my sewing machine because it's so finicky.. I was afraid I'd mess it up.
So if this looks like a 7 year old did it, it's because in a way, that's exactly who did this! I remember making fans with my mom as a little girl... especially in church when it was hot. In a rush, that was all I could think of to do. I used all scraps on this... the dp is one sided and it I do it again, I will be sure it's 2 sided... learn as you go, right?
Anyway, this isn't my best work, but it's OK for a quick card for the card ministry at my church... I think some of our folks would still love receiving it... I hope so anyway. Now, I've GOT to go work in the yard!!!

Grace this is a wonderful card. You didnt give yourself enough credit for the skills that pulled everything together so wonderfully well for this challenge. Love the concept; love the card. so, you're working in the yard? Yikes....what's that?

Took me back...I did the same thing in church in the summer!! Now I have a fan with me at all times (hot flashes are NO fun!). thanks for the nostalgic trip!!
