Thanks very much Bonnie for challenging me in the area of ovals! I loved the way this card folded. I have to say, I have no fancy oval cutting devices! I used the gravy boat base of my fiesta to trace an oval and then expanded up it freehanded...don't you just love distressing...covers a multitude of crookedness!
I knew I would use this awesome chandelier from B Line Designs, it is part of a set of two...I love the scale of it. I stamped it onto GP white cs with VersaColor black and embossed in clear. I exatoed as much as I could to 'free' it from the paper! I used Stickles Diamond on the big crystals. It is mounted onto MME 29th Street Market polka dots Carefree/Adorable paper. I distressed and colored the edges with ColorBox lava black. My base is from the same paper group, Carefree/Graceful elegant print and poised purple paper. Hooray for double sided paper! I cut a narrow strip to use on the edge fold. My sentiment is from the Cloud 9 acrylic stamps. It is the back of the polka dots paper. I used the nestabilities retangle/scallops. I added a bit of chain for the wiring of the chandelier to the ceiling and a MM flower brad to hold it in place. I also used the flower brad and a photo turn at the corner of the sentiment.
I'm sending this card to my sister for her birthday. She has been through so very much and still sparkles...I know she'll love this quote. Thanks so much for looking...

Can I really be the first in line to comment? That never happens! I love this one too! The quote is beautiful and would have worked great on your last card too. I have to admit that I had a chuckle over the fact that the lady with the ultimate stamp collection doesn't have an oval cutter! I like your priorities and by the way the oval looks great!

Oh Susan! I LOVE your chandelier, but even more I love the sentiment! So true! That is a great set you got there! As always, your creativity amazes me... I love the way you take various inks, papers and embellishments and make the heart sing! This card is reflective... reflective of one talented creator! Your sis will love it!
