I made this card for my aunt, but I'm not sure about the colors. I can't tell if the cs I mounted it on is Lavendar Lace or Almost Amethyst and didn't realize it until driving into work. What do you think? Should I change the background to Green Galore? Should I leave it the purple I have it? Can you tell which purple I have it? I used a dryer sheet over the flowers.

Beautiful card. How did you get the top layer to sparkle and just what did you do with the dryer sheet. I am not familiar with that technique.

I stamped the flowers and then ran it face up through the Xyron. I attached the dryer sheet and then (thanks Keri) sprinkled the glitter onto the dryer sheet and rubbed it in. It worked great because the adhesive from the Xyron held both on.

Wow, love this card. A great new technqiue. I am either tired or don't know why, how did you do the little flowers at the bottom? Did you emboss clear then use pastels?

The Xyron is a laminating/adhesive applying machine. They come in large and small sizes. I have the large one which isn't the most convenient for traveling, but I take it with me anyway. You would normally run the paper so the back gets the adhesive down, but for this I ran it so the front would get the adhesive. It's a great little machine.
