Father's Day card for my DH. He is working hard to finish our basement and the first room he finished was a stamping room for me. What a sweetheart!
I used the extra Pearlized Mauve (paper accents) from a class that I hosted, taught by lorettal: original card here LSC151 Rebecca's Easter by lorettal at Splitcoaststampers) .
For the DIY-DP, I sanded the pretty mauve paper and sponged with chocolate chip. Then misted with water, so that the ink will bleed through the sanded lines. I quickly wiped off the excess water with a paper towel.
The main image was stamped with Timber Brown (Stazon) and colored using various inks and blender pens, then sponged and distressed. Card base was sponged with Groovy Guava and Close to CocoaTFL.
