This Monday for our CCEE challenge, Cindy Haffner challenged us to make a cowboy or cowgirl card with at least one star on it. The only stamp I have of a western theme is this one by MFT (thank you, Cindy!).
I chose to do the faux leather technique on the cowgirl's skirt (you can find this in the resource pages) since cowboys and girls wear leather, right? This particular image also shows part of her arm and hand holding a rope, but I chose to leave those off. The brads are all brass, even though the ones on the black stars look black.
This card also meets Notimetostamp's challenge to use black. Further, I started out doing Beate's weekend sketch challenge but when I realized I put the stars where the image panel was suppose to go, it doesn't quite qualify for her sketch design.

Oh Cool! I love how you did her skirt! What a great idea that was. I bet its awesome in real life. By now I realize that I can't sound the buzzer on your card because of your cowgirl being headless cuz the originator of the challenge made a card with a headless cowgirl too! Darn it!
So, no buzzer for you....just a big ole complimentary...
THIS CARD IS AWESOME! Maybe I will get ya next week...ooh...next week are you gonna have fun!
