I fell in love with the photo of the fabrics stacked one on top of the other -- so it served as my inspiration for this card. I used a lovely stack of designer papers (K&C Company Rome) and cut 1/2"x4" pieces. I then sponged all the sides with Close to Cocoa, stacked them on top of each other(just like the fabrics) and added a few embellishments. There is a square of Sage Shadow behind the strips and Close to Cocoa serves as the 4"x5" card base. All the edges were sponged in the same Close to Cocoa. The sentiment is computer generated, printed on Sage Shadow and matted on Close to Cocoa. The buttons are from Making Memories and mounted on Sage Shadow. Lastly, I used a ribbon punch to highlight the vertical strip of Sage Shadow and faux stitched with a brown fine-tip Sharpie.
