I did NO stamping on this card. My MIL asked for cards using pictures of the grandkids so here is one of them. I used the Write Me a Memory II CD to create the words.

Yes, I made the dragonfly. I cut a 16 inch piece of wire and, using the wire cutter/pliers from the crafter's tool kit wide open, I wrapped the wire around the base of the pliers part of the tool leaving two long ends. Wrap the ends around the middle of the loops to create the wings then twist the two ends together to create the tail. I hope that makes sense.
Yes, he (my son Nick)is in the hospital and yes, it's very serious. This picture was taken on the second of 5 visits after the first of 6 surgeries since September. It's been a very long 6 months for us and we're not out of the woods yet. He has hydracephelus (fluid on the brain) and has since he was born (9 weeks premature). He has had a cranial shunt since he was 4 weeks old (he is now 7). In September the shunt failed (after 6 1/2 years) and this picture was taken after he got a new one put in. Since then we've had nothing but trouble and it culminated on Valentine's day when we went back into ER because he was having headaches and vomiting. Two days later he was diagnosed with Spinal Menangitis and had to have all of his stuff removed. Now he has no shunt again and we are just waiting to see if/when he needs one. I think the time is drawing near as he's experiencing headaches again. Time will tell. He's a real trooper though and the bravest kid I know.

My family and I will be praying for your special little guy. I hope that does not offend you. Draw close to Him, Jesus wants to help you. Wonderful card, love the dragonfly.Ü

What a PRECIOUS little guy! I am praying for him and for your family. May the Lord grant you peace and strength as your son goes through this illness. The Bible says, "Where two or more are gathered in My name, there I will be in the midst of them." So, we know with all of these stampin' sisters of faith, your son will be lifted up in prayer MANY times a day! LOVE and BLESSINGS to all of you. Please keep us updated! Give him a hug and kiss for me- I know you will!

For any who are still on here who prayed for my son so long ago. Thank you! After my last post, he had one more surgery to install a new shunt system. He has been doing VERY well since then. He is now 12 years old and just started 6th grade. Since my last post there have been several other issues that have arisen, but we have gotten through them and are doing fantastically. We are so blessed by God's love. Thank you again for your prayers. I'm sorry it has taken so long to respond to your wonderful support.
