I made the woodgrain frame with reinkers in various shades of browns and blacks applied to CS with a toothbrush. The background piece was an evolving project that I just couldn't get the way I wanted. It was DTP'd and sponged in a bunch of different colors. The tree was colored with watercolor pencils and aquapainter and then I applied pastels. Again, I couldn't get it the way I wanted it so kept adding more. I finally just had to be done with it!!

I speak the truth not so much as I would, but as much as I dare, .......and I dare a little more as I grow older. -Michel de Montaigne, essayist (1533-1592)
