With a little imagination the Mens Wear stamp can be turned into any shirt for any occasion. I wanted to make my son a card for his 40th birthday and combine it with his occupation, he is a rescue swimmer for the Coast Guard.
I took a little creative license with the ribbons on his shirt. I could not get all the ribbons on it nor could I color them authenticly...just too small.
I stamped the shirt on bliss blue paper, I then inked the pocket again and stamped on left side of shirt. I cut a second set of shoulder images to glue ontop for tabs, and did the same for the pocket pleat.
I stamped the sentiment on clear vinyl, backed with designer paper, added brads and a little sheer blue ribbon.
