The colors for this card were inspired by the fun dotted paper by Shabby Princess...I've had it for ages and just dug in!
The cake is paper-pieced, with the exception of the red "layer." I couldn't quite cut that layer to my liking, so colored it in instead. It works for me! The dots are highlighted with SU! red glitter. Each layer of the cake is sponged with a slightly darker shade of ink for more depth.
