My friend Ibby lent me this wheel earlier this week and last night before bed, I started creating some different backgrounds with it, so I had the DIY DP challenge for the Limited Supply challenge today half done before I even saw it posted. To create my background paper, I first sponged River Rock ink onto my glossy cs. Then I wheeled the Leaves a la Carte Jumbo wheel over the CS with Versamark ink. Then I sponged on Blue Bayou ink. Today after reading the challenge, I stamped the leaf image from Carte Postal onto the CS with Brilliance Galaxy Gold ink and then overstamped the entire piece with the Canvas Background inked with River Rock. Much of this is subtle and I'm not sure how well it shows in the scan. The corners are Cuttlebug die cuts from gold CS and the main image is a medallion that I made by embossing the image in gold EP and then three additional layers of CS to give it depth. I edged this piece with the gold Zip Painty. The ribbon is three layers stacked. Two of the ribbons are from the Theater Ribbon Originals package and the gold layer is something I bought years ago. Finished card is 4 5/8 X 6 3/8 inches.
