this is for sharon's (notimetostamp) challenge. to use glitter in any form. I like to use stickles glitter glue, way less messy for me.
hard to see, but the bees wings are glittered as are all the flower, leaves, dots in flower center and the bee trail.
this looks really hard to make but - surprise - so so easy...
the top band has swirl eb folder, the flower petals have floral fancy eb folder.
shade the leaves with old olive and a touch of black with a sponge, draw in your viens with old olive marker,
shade the flower petals with a hint of black, after assembling the flower curl up the edges.
The center is made with glossy black paper dotted with white acrylic paint using a flat end of a paint brush.. or anything that is the size you want your dots to be, this is the less expensive way to have the look of the large dotted brads. make a whole sheet and punch the size you want as needed.
I used a 4" wide small paper sack. cut the sack 4" tall.
front and back pieces are cut at 4 1/4 by 4 1/4, the handles are 8 1/2 by 1/2",the top border is 4 1/4 by 1". decorate with any theme you like..
these would be great for mother's day, birthdays etc.
thanks for taking a look!
