My neighbours recently adopted a little girl so I wanted to make them a card to wish them well.
I rolled Wash Day on PTI white with Palette noir black and coloured it in with an aquapainter and inkpad lids and markers here and there. The accents are some pink taffeta ribbon and liquid pearls, as well as some Sakura glaze and glitter pens. My scanner doesn't do light pink very well and this was as close as I had the patience to try to correct it. The colour scheme is Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery and Almost Amethyst.
As I look at this thumbnail, I really see how crooked it is. Oh well, I guess it's wash day on a slight slope.... Like I told the ladies in my class the other day, "If you want a card that's perfect and looks like it was made in a factory, then buy a card that was made in a factory."
