 | | I do appreciate all your kind remarks on my previous two attempts at today's sketch challenge. I really like both of those cards, but I wanted to create one that was truly in line with the sketch and I think this one does it. I had to look outside my current SU! stamp collection for an image that seemed like it would work. I don't know where I got this stamp, but I don't think I've ever inked it before now, so that was a great plus. It's a lovely image. I used the spotlighting technique again but with a much larger oval. I stamped the base image on the Afternoon Tea DSP which set up the color scheme. I stamped her in a clear area on the paper so that generated the additional flower cut outs because this paper is just so lovely. I don't think it shows up on the scan, but there are some gold accents in her jewelry and some gold glitter on the centers of the popped up flowers. |
