One of my DH's friends tragically lost his 6-yr old puppy on Saturday. Sympathy cards are always a hard thing for me to make without crying my eyes out after I've completing the card. The puppy was hit by a car when he tried to run after a ball. I've never met the dog before, but DH says the he was one loveable furball. His name was Ben. I got my inspiration from these two cards:
The sentiment reads:
FRONT OF CARD - Our animal friends teach us more than we expected, and loved us more than we could have hoped
INSIDE OF CARD - That's why we miss them more than we could have imagined.
With Sympathy at this time of loss.
I was just crying profusely after reading the sentiment over and over again because it is so true. Even though they are only animals, they become so much a part of our lives and memories.
Thanks to artsystamper and cherbear49908 for the inspiration!

This card is so lovley, it's making me cry too!! I hope Ben's owner really appreciated this card. I'm sure he did. I know how it is to lose such a young pet, so suddenly. May Ben rest in peace.

What a sweet card. I agree with everything you said. It is very painful to lose a pet.
