This was a great challenge - make a card inspired by something in your home.
Right away I knew I wanted to use this "jewelled" trinket box. I have a little collection of these enamel and rhinestone boxes in lots of shapes and colours. This was my most recent purchase - I was drawn to it right away by what I immediately saw as a profusion of Stampin' Up! colours! lol Best of all, it was half price!
I used Bud Basics to mimic the shape of the flower on top of the box, the colours all came from the enamel and rhinestones and the hodgepodge was a reference to the metal surrounds and clasp.
This might be the sparkliest card I've ever made, but of course you can't tell that at all from the photo. IRL the stickles and rhinestones sparkle beautifully.
All the flowers and leaves are stickled in a corresponding colours. I used lots of dimensionals on this one, the sentiment layers and cut out flowers are popped up.
