I made this card for this week's Sketch Challenge (my 1st) and for the Limited Supplies Challenge (also my 1st), Why, oh Why...we were to use embellishments that we bought but didn't use.
I used beads on the flowers that I had bought over a year ago at Wal Mart because they looked pretty in the package...I had never even opened them. I colored the images with Radiant Pearls paint. I loved the idea of Radiant Pearls when I was first shown how to paint with them. I had to go and buy many colors, of course, but had never used them either. Finally, the lace corner punch....I have many frilly corner punches and decorative scissors collecting dust on a shelf somewhere.
I highlighted the painted images with chocolate chip...got this idea from Beate's gallery...isn't she brilliant?!!
My youngest son is on Spring Break and so my family is heading out for the Great Smoky Mountains tomorrow morning after an early worship service. I can't wait! Even though I will have a SERIOUS case of SCS withdrawal! Hope you all have a great week, too! TFL!!
