I made this card combining this week's Color (Soft Sky, Basic Gray and Whisper White - I decided to use Basic Black as my neutral) and Sketch Challenges. I was thrilled to see that this cool Dad Wave stamp measured exactly 1.5" so I could use it for this sketch.
My card base is Soft Sky (thanks, Teresa, for giving me a sheet to use). Panel 2 is Basic Gray cs that was embossed with the Swiss Dot folder and layered on Basic Black. Panel 3 is a strip of Basic Black cs with a piece of Felt Fusion. I stamped the main image onto Whisper White cs with Basic Black ink and highlighted each word with my Black Star Dust Gelly Roll pen. I dotted the i in wisdon, memories and guidance with perfectly matched Dew Drops adhering them with a droplet of Alene's Paper Glaze. Finally, this panel was adhered with Dimensionals.
I know this isn't the typical fishing/hunting/outdoorsman kind of Father's Day card, but I really like its uniqueness. I think the swirls in the Felt Fusion go great with the swirls in the stamped panel.
