The challenge for The Ways to Use It this week is for tags, I had this card started and the tag was on it before I saw the challenge.
I just wanted to try using the Cuttlebug folder with scattered flowers, trouble is I just kept scattering and still didnÂ’t like it but I think itÂ’ll pass my test now and will not be the type of card IÂ’ll do that often but if I do another IÂ’ll add an extra border layer and probably use two or at least wider ribbonÂ…wider ribbon means less room for fussy cut flowers!
-The images are colored with Prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits.
-The butterflies are punches that I colored in. They were sculpted by using the largest end of my largest ball stylus and moving it in a circular motion staying off the very edge.
-The tag is a die cut from QuicKutz.
-The embossed panel got a little chalk/pastels rubbed on the raised portion. If a little got on the lower portion I just erased it off. No sealing; I just rubbed it real good to get the chalk dust off.
-The ribbon is tied first and taped to the back.
-The lavender flowerÂ’s leaves were a solid image so I ran the black marker around the edge and stamped then filled in with color.
-Clear sparkle gel pen was used on flower centers, on the butterflies and small dots on the tag.
Accessories: Ribbon, gold cording, Prismacolor pencils, Mona Lisa mineral spirits (found at Michael’s), paper stumps for blending, cutting scissors, double and single sided tape, Aleene’s tacky glue, Iron Eagle punch for corners, butterfly punch, Cuttlebug – Allegro f

Love it Rox, I love the flowers with the music background embossing, the ribbon is perfect for this card.
