I've been trying to work up to scrapping about Dad, (he passed away 12.25.05) not there yet, lol. More than a few tears over this layout! And couldn't really journal either...aaack!

I am so sorry about your dad. My grandmother died in 1994 and I still cry over my loss of her inspiration, love, blessings. This is a beautiful tribute. For future generations you might want to add a caption of the year it was taken or how old they were in the picture. a couple of generations down the road they will want to know.

So sorry about your loss. This is a wonderful, loving tribute page though. I agree with other posters - for the journaling just keep it factual but later generations will be interested in dates, ages, etc.

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your father... I think the title says it all --- no journaling needed. It's a very elegant page. Beautiful way to hold onto his memory.
This caught my eye just on design alone and when I read the meaning behind it, my heart skipped a beat. My dad just died 11-25-07. I've been wanting to scrap a book of family pictures (it will be my 1st attemp) but don't think I'm ready yet. Thanks for sharing your page and your dad.
