I hadn't used Blossoms Abound in a long time so I pulled it out for Easter cards. I found this beauty by Happy Heart that I really liked: In Molly's Memory by Happy Heart at Splitcoaststampers
I usually don't do the flowers pointed upwards, so I thought I'd try it. Then I did a few others in a different color combo with the flowers pointed downwards like I usually stamp them. I like 'em both. I wanted this to be for LSC 159 but I had to use the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig so I think that disqualifies me.
The one on the left is done with color challenge #88, Certainly Celery, Elegant Eggplant, and Bordering Blue. It was kind of an experiment since I didn't think I'd like the colors together, but to my surprise I really do. I stamped the Elegant Eggplant off one time before stamping it over the Bordering Blue flowers. The Sanded BG is done with Sahara Sand (appropriately enough).
Thought I'd try some pinks next so I did color challenge #52i for the other set of cards, Creamy Caramel, Perfect Plum, Always Artichoke, and Pretty in Pink. I like the look of stamping a different color on top for the flowers, rather than doing two shades of the same color. And I'm kinda starting to like Artichoke, but ain't nothin' gonna make me like River Rock. Anyway, there they are...and they're going out in the mail ASAP. I was going to do the ribbon with the swirl clippy, but I kind of liked mine better plain and they're easier to mail this way.

They are both beautiful. And I like the lilacs growing up, because that's what they do, then they fall out. Need this stamp, thanks for being an enable That's a good thing. TFS
