This is made from one of those free promo CDs that come in the mail. I heated it with my embossing tool, and then cut with garden shears, and sanded the edges with a manicure block. The flowers are painted with pearl-ex mixed with diamond glaze.

Unique and very pretty. What is diamond glaze? I looked in the SU idea book but I must be missing it. I tried the pearl-ex in lumiere, but it didn't look so great. Anyway, I am still a novice and eager to learn new techniques.

Diamond Glaze is not a SU! product, but it is like Crystal Effects, except that it isn't water-based. You should be able to use CE the exact same way! I used a plastic artist's palette with small wells in it, put a tiny bit (maybe 1/4 teaspoon) of Diamond Glaze in the well, and mixed in a little Pearl-Ex with a toothpick until it was smooth. Then I just painted carefully with a tiny paintbrush. I painted DG on the top edge and the bottom section, and dipped it directly into the beads. When that was dry, I painted over the beads with another coat to seal them.
Thanks for all the sweet comments. You are all great!
