Hello everyone, it's me, Krystie Lee!! Can you believe that IÂ’m a dirty girl?! *Squeal!!* When I saw Julie's private message, I had my two year old on my lap. I think I launched her about five feet in the air when I jumped out of my seat! It was such a big mix of surprise, elation, and nervousness all in one moment! When I could form a coherent thought and remember the number, I called my husband. I must admit to getting a little choked up when I broke the news to him!
I always craved a creative outlet, but never found my niche until I discovered stamping. In high school, I took every art class that was offered, all with disastrous results! I was hopeless at everything, and my parents have the bad paintings and lopsided pottery to prove it! My mom started making cards a few years ago, and I was intrigued. I had a Stampin' Up! Catalog at home and loved looking at the samples. I signed up to be a Demo in 2006, even though I had never attended a workshop or touched rubber to ink before! I wasn't sure what to do with those stamps in my starter kit, so I found my way to SCS. I was instantly hooked on the hobby and the site!
I live in a Seattle suburb with my wonderful husband, Jesse, our daughter, Elsa, and our little dog, Pippy. Prior to staying home with our daughter, I was in human resources and office management.
I'm beyond thrilled to be a part of the Dirty Dozen. Everyone who knows me knows how much the SCS community means to me. Being a part of it in any capacity, let alone the Dirty Dozen, is an incredible honor! I hope that you'll find some inspiration in my humble additions to the famous DD gallery!
