I really wanted to do these two challenges much earlier, but it just wasn't to be. I love Roxie's sketch and since I use the computer a lot, the ways to use challenge seemed perfect. Started the card on Thurs but stuff got in the way. Set out to finish it today then it started snowing and got really windy and we lost power for about 4 hrs. Had to finish this in the semi-dark. To top it off, the power outage messed up the pc so could not connect to the internet until a few minutes ago. So y'all, please be kind if my card is not straight or off in some way.
There isn't any stamping on this card. I started w/ a piece of dp that looks like an old pattern piece. I resized and printed out a bunch of clip art I had of old dress patterns, cut them out and attached to the dp in a collage manner. The big girl, I had to use paint shop to change the color of her dress to go w/ the rest of the card. The tag was printed (font is Lysandria).
I attached three strips of c/s together to make the panel behind the girl and added the tape measure ribbon. The wide horizontal panel is another piece of pattern clip art. I probably got most of the clip art from Dover Publications. TFL

WOW!!! This card is amazing! I love the colors, the sentiment, the tape measure, and that main image is just awesome! If this is what you do in the dark, I'd love to see what you can do in the light!!!
