My take on the challenge photo which is linked here
I was inspired by the headboard which reminded of the picket fence card style I created years ago. After cutting the top and stamping the images I scored a line to give a fence board effect and avoiding a score over the image.
The image is colored with Prismacolor pencils.
A stamp positioner is a must for how I arranged the rose vine. Part of it is a partial image so it had to be masked off but is very easy with just using a straight edged sticky note/post it.
I created some shadow on the fence and also added some nail heads which show up better in real life.
The first time I made this it was folded and the picket fence cuts were made on the front and back. For this card only the front is cut into the picket design due to the texture direction on the cardstock; it is mounted a card front that measures 4.25 by 4.50”. I only had a half sheet to work with and wanted the texture to go up and down the card like a wood grain.
