I made this for today's limited supply - use one flower stamp.... and I used this weeks colour challenge. I'm not really to happy with card., looks kind of muddy..
I clear embossed and white embossed on glossy card stock and brayed on black, the black didn't wipe off like I thought it would, I used sand paper to scratch up the embossed paper. The oval flower panel is stamped on vellum in white and black stazon. Stitched and pierced around the edges. Sewed on the white scalloped lace.

I think it's very pretty!
I sometimes use just a little bit of water on my papertowel when I wipe ink off embossed images. But I think in your case this worked fine, this way the background doesn't stick out too much and the focus is on the main image.
