We had a really big week in our family -- my niece, Claire, had a baby (her first) -- Gavin Linden Joiner. I've never been one of those "all babies are cute" people -- truthfully, I think most babies are ugly until they fill out a bit and hit about 2 months old. Gavin is setting me straight. I think he's so BEAUTIFUL! It's not just me either. My entire family is just gaga for this little guy. My boys ask me daily if we can drive over and see the baby. My niece, Bonnie, has proclaimed me the "baby paparazzi" because I'm always camera-in-hand snapping away. I'm taking goofy pictures of his feet and stuff. I've practically begged Claire to let me do the baby announcements.
Anyway, back to business, I made this page using the Confetti Kit from Sugarplum Paperie (www.sugarplumpaperie.com). I changed the hues on the Lime paper in order to get the blue color. I wanted to keep the polka dots -- they just screamed baby to me The Polaroid picture frame is from the coordinating embellishment kit. The white paper is actually just Adobe background paper that I texturized with one of the filters. The stitching is from the Love Actually set. The font is a free download from Creating Keepsakes -- the Ali Edwards handwriting font. Man, I WISH my handwriting was like that!

Your page is fab! The page compliments the photos and they just pop for attention. He is a cutie. I'm with you on generally newborns are ugly. My son was ugly but my daughter was quite beautiful - I kept saying are you sure she's mine?
