It all started when I found this really pretty sunflower scrapbook paper that I picked from AC Moore. I bought a few sheets to cover a tin that I picked up. I decided to use it store my cuttlebug stuff. My mom and friend liked it, too, so I also made them one. I used up the remaining sheets of the paper I had, so I had to go to every AC Moore within driving distance to get every sheet I could find. It wasn't easy, because it was on clearance. I'm glad I bought all I could find, because I came across tins to go with my first one, larger and smaller! Got that winter itch to give my sewing/craft room a make over. I am using the sunflower scrapbook paper as inspiration for cute things for the cleaned up room. Please take a look at my gallery for the other items made.
Thanks!

That paper is beautiful! Your tins are gorgeous. Did you paint the rim of the lid or did you adhere paper to that part. If you painted it, wow, did you match that color. If you adhered the paper, how did you do it so it went down the lid, around the box, without getting bumpy??

That is a really rich look. Before I read your description, I thought you had painted these. I am a person who likes things in "sets." This is really a terrific storage solution for your craft room. It stores your stuff AND displays your crafty-ness!
