This is my card for Sharon's Flourishes Challenge. Blogs at Splitcoaststampers It also happens to be for Debbie's sketch she posted to her blog back on January 30. http://debbiedesigns.typepad.com/mus...ny-thanks.html Last, but not least, it's also for Color Challenge #92 (Cool Caribbean, Real Red and Whisper White...my neutral is Basic Black). Phew!!
My card base is some pretty textured cs from Bazzill's Swimming Pool Collection. I pulled out my Felt Fusion for the flourish factor. (I LOVE this product!!) For my stamped panel, I stamped the bird from the Always set onto a 2.5" square piece of Whisper White cs with Basic Black ink. I knew I wanted his tail to hang over, so I used my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig for perfect placement. While I had this handy-dandy tool in hand, I added the sentiment with Cool Caribbean ink. On a scrap piece of Whisper White, I stamped the bird with Real Red ink and cut out his body. I placed the bling frame onto the Whisper White square, added the red body with Dimensionals and layered it on Basic Black cs. It's been adhered to the card with Dimensionals, too.
I love the way this turned out and hope you like it, too. TFL - Regina
